Akintunde Akinleye (1)

I saw this photo for the first time today. It was a photo of a man rinsing his face after gas pipeline explosion in Lagos back in December 2006. The photo taken by Akintunde Akinleye, won first prize in the Spot News Singles Catergory of the World Press Photo of the Year. (via Maryt)

The World is not a Joke (0)

Went to the 2006 Carnaval del Pueblo in Burgess Park on Sunday. It was amazing! Good opportunity to test drive my photographic skills. Wulf also has some photos from Sunday, although we missed each other.

Found a guy wearing a t-shirt with George Bush’s picture saying “The World is not a Joke”. The World’s most powerful politician/man is also a joker. How ironic!
