ADEREMI'S NOTEBOOK

6 August 2006

Seriously does Nigeria have hope?

Politics is becoming tiresome in Nigeria. Like the same old story. Good people get removed (forced to resign) or get killed. The definition of good people is relative. I refer to people attempting to make a difference in Nigeria. Not too bothered if you chop money along the way but at least make a difference. I’m confused and beginning to doubt if Nigeria has any hope.

A military coup will joggle our memory!

Of course, Nigeria does have hope! Nigeria is one country you have to keep hoping and hope does not make us ashamed. It keeps us going otherwise, we’ll become despondent. It’s just a matter of time. There’s still hope for Nigeria.

Re: Just a matter of time;

The flame of hope is burning but the oil is running low. (no pun intended). Even the most hopeful begins to lose hope.

I got emailed this article about Obasanjo and TransCorp. We all know OBJ oversaw the creation of Transcorp based on South Korea’s chaebols.

Nigeria has hope, I would say alot of hope. Doing sumthing positive is not easy in Nigeria, but we have to make an effort to Do Sumthing Positive for Nigeria. A few of us run the Do Sumthing Positive Nigeria Project for youths cause we realised there are many gaps that need to be filled.

Be inspired, Be an achiever, Be Sumthing!
