i thought that stuff about nigerians being the happiest people on earth was bollucks. no one (not even us african beasts who have convinced ourselves that we are ”hard”) can be happy living with unemployment, economic stagnation, armed robbery, domestic violence, acid baths, child abuse, failing universities, mindless religion, presidents who hate us, etc etc. They can say they’re happy, mostly bcuz religious nigerians believe in ”claiming” and not epe-ing for themselves (don’t say you are sick, or else you really will become sick), but they’re lying. And the saddest thing is ppl can keep on pretending nigerians don’t suffer from depression or mania or other mental problems, and that nigerians don’t commit suicide.
