ADEREMI'S NOTEBOOK

Boyz II Men are back

Slowly I am getting back into the routine of sleeping at night and staying awake during the day after messing up sleeping pattern because of the night shifts I did during my exams. Anyway I heard Boyz II Men’s single “You Make Me Feel Brand New” and got a bit excited (ok maybe single release is old news for some). A couple of changes have taken place, The group has setup a record label and have a new album called “Throwback” coming out in August 2004. The group is down to 3members after Michael “Bass” McCary retired. As I listen to their track, I realised why I always liked them - they’re purely soulful and old school (retro might be a more suitable word).

Apparently “Throwback” is meant to exhibit their interpretations of classics hits like Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature,” and Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together.

Essential addition to summer collection in my humble opinnon.
