A Dutch Man is made King in Ghana

About 11 years ago I was invited to Ghana for a visit by King Bansah of Hohoe. Half a year later he asked me to be the Consul of Hohoe and I did. I was the Consul for about 8 or 9 years. After that I knew Ghana very well and also the area of the Volta Region, and then the king of that area was dead and they asked me to be the new king of the area of Somey. Normally, they would not invite anyone from outside, but the people of Somey and the Paramount Chief of Somey along with their lawyer made an exception to the rule to allow me to become their king. The people asked me to do that, and I said Okay. He was enstooled as king of Somey Area on 14th July 2001.
